Description
A diamond sharpening steel has tiny diamonds bonded to the surface of the steel. Diamonds, being much harder than the steel that knives and other kitchen tools are made of, sharpen aggressively, quickly creating a razor sharp edge on the tool being sharpened. The pointed oval shaped cross section allows sharpening of conventional knives and knives with large serrations, such as bread knives, as well as most other kitchen cutting tools. You can also use this steel to smooth out small chips in glass, crystal, and china by gently grinding away the sharp edges. The steel is 10" in length.
