Zyliss has done it again! Anyone can safely chop vegetables, nuts and other foods with this redesigned chopper. A blade guide keeps the zigzag blade perpendicular to the cutting surface as it rotates to chop efficiently and evenly no matter how fine you want food chopped. An innovative soft pad attaches to the bottom of the chopper to absorb shock so that the blade slices through foods rather than crushing and bruising them. The chopper is constructed from unbreakable plastics to make it almost indestructible and comes apart for cleaning at the sink or in the dishwasher. You can also chop up to a cup of food right in the translucent air-tight container that is included for those times when you need to chop ahead and store. The chopper is 4.25" in diameter and 8.5" tall when open and locks closed at 6.75" for compact storage. Especially good for hard to chop items like nuts.
