This is the very best way that we have found to steep loose tea in a conventional teapot. Metal implements can impart off flavours but this re-usable, 100% unbleached cotton straining bag is large enough to allow full movement of the tea leaves inside your tea pot while imparting no off flavour to delicate infusions. It can be lifted from the pot at any time using the coated wire handle and is easily rinsed clean under clear running water. Some staining may occur, but this will not affect the flavour of your tea.
