Description
This bowl is made of 0.7mm thick stainless steel for heavy duty use. It is deeper than the usual bowl, so your hand mixer doesn't fling batter over the sides, and has a flattened bottom to make it stable. The flared and rolled rim helps you grip the bowl and provides a lip for pouring. If the bowl is slightly larger than the pot of water underneath, this bowl can make an excellent double boiler. Use a tea towel or piece of cheesecloth between the two to reduce slipping. If you buy more than one, the bowls store nested to save space.
