This is the best and easiest wireless remote thermometer and timer we have used. You can select the type of meat you are cooking and how well you would like it cooked or select a specific alarm temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. Once you insert the probe into the meat and the meat into the oven you can take the wireless remote unit with you up to 100ft away. The lighted display shows you the selected temperature and the current internal temperature of the meat. When the desired temperature approaches, a voice alert tells you that your food is nearly ready; when the desired temperature is reached the voice alert tells you that your food is done. Control unit sits securely in the cradle or on its stand. Very easy to use.
